Spud Barges

A spud barge is a barge that can be moored with pilings that are mounted through the deck, called spuds. These pilings, or spuds, make it possible to provide exceptional surface stability when working in rough environments where stability is required. Often used for dredging and other inland applications, spud barges are an important part of our offshore construction infrastructure.
